She Can You Can – 🇺🇸 Release

An alphabet book of iconic women of Indian origin to inspire young girls of Indian diaspora living in North Americas.

After releasing the book in India in 2019, We worked to bring the book to the US as well. For this release, we choose to introduce some new characters that would be more relevant to the Indian diaspora living in North Americas.

Process

The US release is in partnership with a small publishing house. Compared to the behemoth Harper Collins for the India release, this was a new and radically different experience.

The pre-order campaign for the book was kicked off in August, 2020 amidst the global pandemic Covid-19. Due to Covid-19, the actual print run and delivery of the physical copy will happen in 2021. This was a huge bummer in promoting the book.
